SARIGIA will disband

SARIGIA will disband on January 27th, 2022 after their final live at Ikebukuro EDGE.

Below is the translated message by the band and the bandmembers in regards of their decision to break up.

Thank you very much for your continued support of SARIGIA.

SARIGIA would like to make an important announcement.

We would like to inform you that we will end all activities as SARIGIA and disband after our one-man live at Ikebukuro EDGE on January 27, 2022.

We would like to apologize to all of our fans who have supported us, and to all of those who have been involved in our support.

Although there is only a short time left, all the members and staff will do their best to make this happen.

We would be grateful if you could continue to support us until the end.

The following are the comments from the members.

ASUKA (アスカ)

SARIGIA will be disbanded on the same day, exactly 4 years after we started on January 27, 2018.

We made this choice after a lot of time and a lot of discussions among the three of us.

I believe we were able to make this decision because all three of us were looking in the same direction, feeling the same things, and thinking the same things.

I want you to understand this.

I don't think SARIGIA can be beaten by any other band in terms of how close we are.

So, please don't misunderstand me in any way.

I would be happy if you could spend the remaining time with us, cherishing each and every activity in our short period of time.

And one last thing, let me be selfish.

Until the last day when we come to the end, I would be happy if we could have a happy 1/27 with everyone.

Next year, on January 27th, it will have been four years since we started, and a year and a half since we became three.

The first year and a half since we became three has been one of the most intense years of our band's life, and it has also been one where we felt our limits.

As a result of discussions with the three of us, we have decided to end SARIGIA at the four-year mark rather than continue it.

I hope you will support us until the end.

Shoma (翔磨)

It's been four years since we started.

I think that four years is a cycle or a milestone in the real world.

We chose to end SARIGIA at that time.

Let me just say that it wasn't because we had a falling out, or a difference in direction or musicality.

I'm confident that we are closer than any other band, and I believe that the three of us have been running in the same direction for this long.

It's not like anyone has asked us to quit.

That's why we chose to end it.

But in the end, it's all just excuses, and it's really our lack of power that led to this announcement. I'm sorry.

There are still three months left.

We will do our best in each and every activity, so it may sound like a bad idea, but please support SARIGIA until the end.

To this end, SARIGIA will embark on a short tour on January 2022 before performing their final live at Ikebukuro EDGE.
