Guitarist Kyrie will leave NoGoD

NoGoD's lineup will change for the first time in 3 years.

Guitarist Kyrie will secede on February 22nd, 2022, after the band's live performance at Nakano Sun Plaza Hall.

While NoGoD is no stranger to lineup changes over the course of the band's long history, this still comes as a surprise to many as Kyrie has been with the band for 16 years and counting since July 2005 -which is 6 months after the band's formation- when he replaced another guitarist named Soumu (想夢) who had left NoGoD before Kyrie had joined.

A translation of the announcement is available to read from below:

This is an important announcement about NoGoD.

Thank you for your support of NoGoD.

We would like to make an important announcement to all the believers and people who have been waiting for us to perform in front of an audience for a long time.

In June, Kyrie expressed his wish to leave NoGoD after the end of the year 2021.

The members, the office, and the manufacturer's representative have all had a chance to discuss this matter. We respected his wishes and agreed to leave the band.

We are sorry that we cannot give a direct greeting as it is, so we are planning a performance with spectators at Nakano Sun Plaza Hall on February 22, 2022.

Kyrie will be leaving NoGoD after that performance.

(At this time, we are taking all possible measures to prevent the spread of the new corona infection.

However, if the situation arises, we may have to cancel the performance.

However, there is a possibility that this will be changed depending on the situation.)

NoGoD will be in the preparation period for the new organization.

The timing of the resumption of activities is yet to be determined, but Dancho, Shinno, and K have a strong intention to come back to you, the followers.

We hope that you will look forward to the new NoGoD, and we will do our best to push forward with the current group until the Nakano Sun Plaza Hall concert in February next year.

We apologize for any concern this may cause you.

We would like to ask for your continued support.
