After a cryptic 5 day countdown, Yoshiatsu, former vocalist of DADAROMA, has revealed his new project: Fukuro (梟).
Fukuro (梟) has a unique lineup consisting of only a vocalist, bassist, drummer and pianist. This kind of guitarless lineup is exceedingly rare in vkei—and if their first song is any indication, we can expect a more contemplative and rhythmic sound than we were used to from DADAROMA.
(By the way, if you recognize the band name, it's because Yoshiatsu founded a bar with the same name back in March.)
Taking care of piano is Daisuke, who fans of DADAROMA may recognize as a support member for that band. Rounding out the rhythm section are Yutara and Lotto—both of whom have other ongoing projects, making it unclear if Fukuro (梟) is meant to be a full-time band or occasionally-active project.
