JE:NOVA will leave CROW MUSIC and go into indefinite hiatus

JE:NOVA will leave CROW MUSIC and will suspend their activities indefinitely after November 14th.

On August 2nd, JE:NOVA announced on their Twitter that they will leave their label CROW MUSIC on October 16th . After some discussions between themselves, the members of JE:NOVA decided to suspend their activities indefinitely too after November 14th.

(JE:NOVA's messages don't really sound positive that there will be a comeback any time soon, but let's pray that the members will decide differently in the time being. )

Messages in regards to the band's upcoming hiatus have been translated below. (Note: these are only rough machine translations.)

JE:NOVA Enju

As you may have heard, JE:NOVA will be going on an indefinite hiatus after the concert on November 14. We had a discussion yesterday and came to this conclusion.

I'm sorry for the sudden turn of events, but I just reported the other day that we will be working independently from October 17.

We have been able to enjoy our activities up to this point with the support of everyone who has been supporting us, so I am truly sorry to give this heartbreaking report.

It's a shame that this announcement has come just four months after I joined the band and started working with the new structure.

To be honest, I thought that my activities would continue, and with each passing day, my attachment to the current JE:NOVA grew stronger and stronger.

That's why I wanted to continue to be in the band with these members, even if it was on a voluntary basis, and I really didn't want it to end after only six months.

So I was not satisfied with this conclusion until the very last minute in our discussion yesterday.

I was so frustrated that I even begged the members to somehow overturn the decision.

Because I love this band, I still feel sadness and regret.

I wish I could have made the current JE:NOVA more widely known to many people in the future.

However, this is the answer that all the members discussed and decided together, so now that it has come to this, I have to accept the reality as soon as possible.

I wish I could have made the current JE:NOVA more widely known to many people in the future. I'm going to change my mind and move forward.

We have only three months left before we go on an indefinite hiatus, but we're going to make sure we look our best at each and every one of our remaining shows, so please support us until the end.

JE:NOVA Shion

First of all, I'd like to apologize to all the fans who have been supporting JE:NOVA for making the announcement of indefinite hiatus so sad...

Since the formation of JE:NOVA until now, there have been many things that have happened, such as members other than me and Naru leaving one after another, gigs being cancelled or postponed at Corona, and so on.

Even so, I thought I'd managed to find a new member to help me get back on track. When I looked at the uncertain future of the Corona disaster and the current state of JE:NOVA, I realized that even though I'll be able to move freely in the future through voluntary activities, I'll still have to be careful about what I do.

Honestly, no matter how hard I try, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to see the scenery I envisioned.

I also sensed that there was some discrepancy between the way Naru and I were thinking and the path we should take. I knew that the other members also had their own thoughts and feelings, so we all had a heart-to-heart meeting.

Do you want to continue as it is?

Do we bring in new members?

Change the name?

Disband?

But a band is useless if all the members are not moving in the same direction.

I wanted to reset everything, and I also wanted to have time to think about things, so I finally decided to take an indefinite hiatus.

I think that if all the members really want to do JE:NOVA again, they should do it. It's possible to go your separate ways, and it's possible to work as a solo artist without a band. I want to respect the various possibilities of each individual. In this day and age, every band must be facing a crisis of survival.

It may be none of my business, but that's why I want you to support the bands that are working hard right now while you can.

I am very grateful to Nero and Enju for once saving me from the crisis of JE:NOVA's survival.

Although the result was an indefinite hiatus.

For the rest of the live, I'm going to do my best to deliver a cool JE:NOVA with the current members, so please continue to support us until then.

JE:NOVA Nero

I apologize for the disappointing announcement.

Of course I wanted to continue with JE:NOVA since I had just joined, but from the point of view of everyone who supports us, the results are everything.

I feel sorry for all the people who genuinely supported the band JE:NOVA.

A band is a band.

After various factors such as time, money, and relationships among members are maintained.

It is a group activity that can be continued only when all the members are satisfied with the management methods and goals, and if it is to be continued, it is an "investment of each person's life".

It's easy to weave and weave and weave without being convinced of it, but I think it's a fact of life that "if you're off in the middle, you're off a lot later".

Even in the sense of an opportunity to review the gap, it is not a dissolution but an expression of suspension of activities, and if all four people can "invest in life" in JE:NOVA, there is only a desire to continue, including those who have just joined.

There is only a little time left, but now I am thinking of completing the goal of complete combustion.

For now, I'm still announcing the suspension, so I'll write more about my thoughts after the actual suspension.

JE:NOVA Naru

As my time ran out, each member's opinion made me honestly think about leaving the service.

However, the fire inside me was still unshakeable.

I can't promise a hundred things, but JE:NOVA was the last band I started.

I'll carry the sign until the end, and as long as I don't break it, it will be immortal forever. That's what I mean.

Thank you for the message, juniors.
