Angelo will indefinitely pause activities

 Angelo will indefinitely pause activities starting on the end of January 2022.

The band will hold one last tour 「THE END OF CIRCLE」 which will start on November 20th and will end on January 9th, 2022.

However, there seems to be 2 extra days with the tour name of 「CONNECTED NEW CIRCLES」 which will be held at Yoyogi No. 2 Gymnasium on January 15th and 16th. Which, after the performance, will also be the start of the band's indefinite pause.

The details about the tour etc, will be announced on a later date.

But Angelo will not go off quietly, as the band will release one last full album on November 17th and will include 10 songs. More details of the album will be announced on a later date.

Even with an album to release this fall and a tour which will end in January 2022, we have decided to suspend our activities as Angelo without sharing a deadline.

We listened to each other's thoughts and to reach this decision as oneself it really was an difficult decision which we didn't took in a rush. It was a tough decision to make for us, because we kept our fans in our hearts who are always looking forward to Angelo's releases and live shows.

However, somewhere in my heart I created my work with an awareness of "the end that will come someday."

Angelo lived for a long time of 15 years. Also, I have always valued the present more than the past. With those feelings in mind, I created the songs for our last album "CIRCLE".

I want to run through the remaining time until it burns out.

As of January 2022, Angelo will end its road.

The fact that we have been active for the past 15 years has been really driven by the presence of the members, the staff involved, and above all, the fans. I'm really grateful to all the support.

As a band, there were a lot of areas where I didn't have the awareness or the idea to look at the same view.

However, what I have experienced as Angelo remains irreplaceable, and I would like to keep all my thoughts in my heart and continue to move forward.

We hope that you will continue to support us until the very last day as Angelo.

TAKEO

As of January 2022, Angelo will be suspended indefinitely.

I am very sorry to make you feel sad for everyone who supported Angelo and proceeded with us. And I'm really grateful to everyone for their support during the 15 years of Angelo.

It was, and still is, the same feeling that there is nothing better than the space, scenery, and time that is created by creating together with everyone.

I feel uncomfortable that I can't respond to the feelings of the five of us, and that I can't respond with my whole heart to the feelings of everyone who creates these irreplaceable things with us.

What we've created so far with Angelo, what we've created and seen with the five of us, and what we've created together, is truly the best thing that's ever happened to us.

I'm really thankful to you.

In the limited time that we have, I want to give my best to each and every one of you, so that we can share and create together, so that we can leave a lasting impression on you and on ourselves.

We are sorry to inform you that Angelo has decided to suspend activities.

We know that this is a surprise to our fans, but it is the conclusion of a long discussion among the members.

I'm looking forward to spending the time which is left with everyone, playing my guitar to the best of my ability. Also I would like to thank you, for all for all your support and encouragement.
