Vexent Disbands

Visual Kei band Vexent will stop all band activities in May.

The members wrote their own comments along with the announcement that appeared on their website this weekend. None of them explained what led to the final decision to disband. 

The band was struggling with keeping a lead guitarist during the past years. Guitarist Touka disappeared in October 2016 and was found later but said he doesn't plan to return to the band. Half a year later Vexent started performing with a new guitarist, Ui. In summer last year the members lost contact to him as well though. Also he explained later that he can't continue with Vexent due to his poor mental health and his family situation.

For the past month Vexent was performing as four member band but now the decision was made that they will continue for only a few more months. Only a handful of concerts and instores are left until the band's last live on May 24th at Takadanobaba AREA in Tokyo.
