YOSHIKI Passes Out Amid Intense European Schedule

YOSHIKI Passes Out Amid Intense European ScheduleX JAPAN leader YOSHIKI was forced to cancel an appearance in Iceland after passing out from exhaustion.
YOSHIKI has been on a promotional tour across Europe for the European theatrical premiere of the X-JAPAN documentary "WE ARE X". He has been active over the past 12 days with over 100 appearances, radio shows, interviews and more.
On October 21, YOSHIKI was scheduled to host a premiere event in Reykjavik, Iceland which included a Q&A session. The appearance was suddenly cancelled after he collapsed.
"Yoshiki is receiving medical care for exhaustion and doctors are keeping a close watch on his physical condition. As of now, Yoshiki's Paris screening event next week remains on schedule," a statement on YOSHIKI's website said.
YOSHIKI has since updated fans to let them know that he is ok.
Earlier this year, YOSHIKI had to undergo emergency spinal surgery to replace a herniated disc in his spine. He was supposed to ease his schedule to help his recovery efforts, and even changed X JAPAN's concert format from a hard rock performance to an acoustic concert to allow him to play on the piano instead of beating on drums.
