YOSHIKI To Return Home For First Time Since Emergency Spinal Surgery

After more than a month since having emergency spinal surgery, YOSHIKI is returning home to Japan.

YOSHIKI's return to Japan was announced on June 18. He is expected to be back home soon.

X Japan's leader has been in Los Angeles since May when doctors determined that he needed emergency surgery to replace a disc in his spine. Although eager to return to work, the fatigue and stress on his body forced him to take some time to rest and recover.

On June 20, YOSHIKI will be holding a press conference where he will be making an announcement and his, and by proxy, X Japan's future activities. The band was supposed to go on tour in July, and changed it to an acoustic tour so YOSHIKI could play the piano instead of the drums.
