Shiki leaves GIGAMOUS which goes on hiatus

Yesterday was Shiki’s birthday (GIGAMOUS’ vocalist), and on the same day he decided to announce some news that devastates GIGAMOUS fans all over the world. Shiki will depart on March 31st 2017 and the band will go on hiatus.
According to Shiki he wanted more out of his life than this. He cherish the memories of 3 wonderful years with the band but can’t help but feeling that they couldn’t keep up with his pace. He also feels that he wan’t to try something new off the stage and express himself in different ways. He has been thinking about it for a long time and when he finally brought up the discussion with the other members, they all came to the same conclusion.
Since the band only will go on hiatus – and there is no final disbandment – there’s always a chance that they will come back one day. And since Shiki is such creative person, it wouldn’t surprise me if we see him again soon, maybe not creating music but doing something else.
