heidi. blossoms new single and album, “Sakura Underground” and “Kaikou”

heidi. is back with a new single and furthermore a new album release titled Kaikou, the follow-up to 2014’s Human. They’ve been dormant for a little over two years, but the band is ready to resprout, as you can see below in the video preview for their upcoming single Sakura Underground:

 

The single will be released on November 16 in two editions, both including two songs and their respective instrumentals. Edition A will include two new songs while edition B will include a re-recorded version of Play, that was released as a bonus track in their 2008 single Orange Drama.
As for the album, Kaikou, it is coming out on December 28 and it will also come in two editions. Limited editions will contain a bonus DVD featuring a documentary and live footage of the band’s 10th-anniversary performance at Akasaka Blitz. The regular edition will include a bonus track title Siren instead.
