X JAPAN's PATA Getting "Better And Better" Following Hospitalization

X JAPAN's YOSHIKI updated fans on the condition of the band's guitarists PATA.
On February 17, the singer revealed that he visited his band mate in the hospital.
"I just came to #JAPAN to see #PATA.He hasn't been eating for a month, but he's getting better and better. He'll make it through! #WeAreX," he tweeted.
PATA was admitted to the hospital on January 15 and was diagnosed with diverticulitis in his large intestine, as well as thrombosis in the portal vein.
Due to his hospitalization, X JAPAN went on temporary hiatus. The band had been poised to release its first new album in 20 years in March.
