BORN will Disband

Surprising news from Visual Kei band BORN: The band has decided to stop all activities this summer.
BORN just updated its website with this sudden news. All members express their gratitude towards the fans and apologize for this announcement. Vocalist Ryoga is the one who talks about the disbanding in detail saying that his ideals and the things he can do don't work out and there is no self-confidence left to continue. Moreover he points out that

This situation is my fault.
If I was stronger I would be able to continue with BORN.
But you can't reset the gear wheel of your heart once the gears have started to get out of place.
Days passed by and I felt like I can't continue to devote myself to music with a feeling like that.
Before realizing it BORN was drawing a different dream than I did.
As result which was difficult for me, I told the other members that I want BORN to disband.
Talking about everyone's thoughts we decided to disband.

Guitarist Ray talks not only about the current situation but also about his future plans: 

"I had decided that BORN will be my last band, so I will quit music. Please support the other members who will continue making music also in the future."

 

BORN has been active for eight years. In 2010 the band joined the famous Visual Kei Label PS Company and did well until losing its bassist Kifumi in 2014. Still BORN continued its band activities as four member band.
On May 26th the members will hold their final live as BORN which will also be their 8th anniversary live at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo.
