About a month ago vocalist AI, from the now-on-hiatus DEATHGAZE, woke up from his slumber and announced a thrilling comeback as a solo artist, while at the same time revealing a new upcoming single GLASS SKY.
Today we’re able to actually listen to the entire opening and main track GLASS SKY, not only that, but surprisingly it also comes as a free download via the official website until October 25! This has it limitations though, by only being at 128 kbps (a reduction in quality), it is however more than we can ask for from the generous AI! Another detail worth mentioning is that the artwork is now out in all its glory!
So what kind of song is GLASS SKY? It’s an emotional ballad with metal influence. A song where the vocal takes the lead while bringing along simple and heavy guitars, as well as relatively gentle drums with some double bass pedals. The bass guitar plays along in tempo with the drums and guitar, it rarely deviates. This song in whole very much sounds alike previous work from DEATHGAZE, which of course is not shocking at all. Thus, fans who enjoy melodic songs such Bliss Yourself Out and Evoke the world from DEATHGAZE will most likely find this interesting!
